Tuition Assistance

Tuition Assistance OverviewSt. Pius X - St. Matthias Academy (PMA) is committed to offering families the opportunity to apply for tuition assistance in order to help make the value of a Catholic education a reality for their children.  

All tuition assistance is need-based. Students receiving tuition assistance must maintain an acceptable academic rating and conduct record. Tuition assistance is available through the Los Angeles Archdiocese's Catholic Education Foundation (CEF) and PMA's Tuition Assistance (PMA Grant). All aid provided is on an annually renewable basis.

If you currently receive CEF Tuition assistance or if your total family income meets the required 2022 Financial Eligibility Guideline, you must apply for CEF. Submit your completed application via e-mail to Mrs. Garcia at tgarcia@piusmatthias.org by January 29, 2021.

All incoming families looking for tuition assistance will also be required to complete the PMA Tuition Assistance Review Form (TARF) and submit the required documentation to the Business Office. Any application submitted after that will not be considered as a priority application. In order to receive the maximum amount of financial assistance per student, parents should complete the applications for both CEF (must meet income requirements) and PMA Grant.

Tuition assistance review forms through PMA will only be processed after a family has successfully completed the application process.
