Dear Parents of the St. Pius X St. Matthias Academy Class of 2021,
Consider yourself blessed. YOU are part of a school community that cares about you, your teen, and the well being of your entire family. PMA puts their students first, and without a beat, the teachers and administrators stepped up to the plate to continue delivering a quality education. A luxury not promised to every student in CA.
While the world has turned upside down, one day in the “near” future your child will apply to college. There are plenty of opportunities for the class of 2021. With many colleges moving to test optional for the next admissions cycle, the holistic process will invariably mean more attention to college essays, letters of recommendation, and all letter grades. I applaud the decision many college prep high schools like PMA are making to stick with letter grades this semester, something that will benefit you in the long run.
Right now parents and students of the class of 2021 are asking, “What should I do?” “What will this mean for me?” “How will I stand out next year?” You are not alone. We are here to address all of those questions, work directly with your child, and give him/her the tools and resources to navigate the college admission process in the midst of our global pandemic.
To assist you in your child’s future, PMA has partnered with Dr. Cynthia Colon, Inc., to provide a 2-Part Series for the Class of 2021. See details below.
