I feel blessed to be a part of the the PMA community and am grateful for the warm welcome I have received.
As your Dean of Student Success I am responsible for facilitating the collaborative work of our teachers in order to ensure the continued growth of our academic programs and the rich interactive learning environments in our classrooms. I also work closely with our Counseling Department as they support students to identify their strengths, address areas for growth, and create a vision of success for themselves as well as a clear plan to successfully pursue that vision.
I consider it a critical part of my vocation to inspire young people to broaden their vision of success and to keep the doors of opportunity open even as that vision is still taking shape in their minds.
In addition to my administrative duties, I have the privilege of helping our students discover their voice as writers as the instructor of our AP English Language and Composition course. (Parents are encouraged to stay connected by subscribing to our Google Classroom using the links provided below).
I have served in Catholic education for seventeen years. I graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.A. in Sociology and earned an M.S. in Secondary Education with a certification in Instructional Leadership from Mount St. Mary’s University. I also hold a California Clear Credential as a Secondary English teacher.
I look forward to partnering with you as parents, students, and the larger community to ensure the continued success of PMA! Go Warriors!
