Co-Curricular Enrichment

This course is taught by our choreographer, Jennifer Aguirre. The Latin Dance class will have students explore different Latin rhythms and genres such as Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, and traditional cultural dance. They will learn basic footwork, armwork, and turns while also learning about the origins of each type of dance.

Rehearsals will consist of full body warm-ups, coordination combinations, and technique, followed by choreography for the Winter Dance Showcase on Thursday, December 4th.

This class is open for all levels from non-experienced dancers to performers.

The total fee for the class is $150, $25 of that being the registration fee. The initial $25 is required to book your spot in the class, while the remaining $125 can be paid all at once or over time.
